Bayimba International Festival of the Arts has grown to become the most anticipated event on the Ugandan arts calendar.The seventh edition of the festival took place from September 19 – 21, at Uganda National Cultural Centre (National Theatre), The three days event saw both local and international artistes/individuals/bands and artists perform. Some notable acts included Kenyan Sarabi Band, Rapper Ruyonga, Maddox Ssematimba, Jinja-based Sifa Kelele led by Sandra Namulindwa, Nehoreka from Zimbabwe, Dr Bone from South Africa, Burney Mc along St.NellySade of LugaFlow Army(UG), the great NU World Electro/SA House/Uk) band “MO LAUDI”and so on.
